KIRO 7 A mother in Washington state claims two people tried to kidnap her four-year-old son by posing as Child Protection Services agents.
Mum Jessi McCombs said the two people, a man followed by a woman, turned up at her house at around 7.30am on Monday, August 19. The woman did the talking, reportedly saying they were there to take her son into protective custody.
However, when Jessi asked the agents to show her some identification, they refused.
According to Jessi, the agents said they were there because of her four-year-old son’s injuries, and were going to take him into custody. Jessi’s son, however, didn’t have any injuries.
She told KIRO 7:
[I] thought for sure [the agent] had the wrong house until she told me his name and birthday. I asked her, ‘Can you show me some identification? Can you show me this order that you supposedly have?’ She refused to show me that.
These people were potentially trying to just snatch my kid, so I started panicking.
Jessi said she then prete..
Fox 13 News A man from Utah has been put in a medically induced coma after vaping gave him lipoid pneumonia, his family have said.
Sean Bills, 31, was admitted to hospital on Saturday (August 17) after suffering with shortness of breath and feeling unable to breathe, before he was placed in the coma.
His wife, Tiffani Bills, said doctors at Jordan Valley Hospital believe vaping caused Sean’s health to deteriorate, after the Utah Department of Health recently launched an investigation into severe lung disease cases potentially related to vaping.
As reported by Fox 13 News, the otherwise healthy father-of-three vaped daily for two years before he was admitted to hospital, only becoming aware something was wrong around two weeks ago.
Tiffani told the news station:
Beginning with shortness of breath and pain and unable to breathe. That’s why he’s in a coma right now because he can’t breathe on his own.
Saying Sean’s illness came ‘out of nowhere’, Tiffani said he is currently the fift..
NetherRealm NetherRealm has announced the remainder of characters set to be released in the first DLC pack for Mortal Kombat 11, and just as the leaks foretold, Spawn is being joined by the Terminator and Batman’s arch-nemesis Joker.
The popular antihero Spawn was confirmed for the “Kombat Pack” (ugh, that name) back in June, while a series of teases and leaks strongly suggested that the Terminator and Joker would also be joining the fray. Sure enough, a newly released trailer has confirmed the poorly kept secret.
Check it out below. Not sure about that Joker design, though.
The three cameo characters are joined in the Kombat Pack by Sindel, Shang Tsung, and Nightwolf, the latter two have already been released, with the rest being added to Mortal Kombat 11 in the coming months.
Old man Terminator comes to the game first on October 8. Sindel joins the fray on November 26. Comic-con Joker will be laughing his way into the game in the new year on January 28, and the ultra 90’s relic ..
HALO Animal Rescue/Disney D23 Rags to riches stories are always intriguing, but when there’s dogs involved it’s just down right adorable.
Such is the case with a dog named Monte, who just a year ago was living at the HALO Animal Rescue shelter in Phoenix, Arizona. Now, however, Monte is on his way to Hollywood stardom.
The two-year-old pupper has been cast as the Tramp in Disney’s forthcoming live action remake of, you guessed it, Lady and the Tramp.
We have a celebrity dog in our midst! Check out Monte, he was adopted last year from HALO and originally came from Las…

According to People, Monte was rescued from a kill-shelter in New Mexico by HALO Animal Rescue, before being transferred to an adoption shelter in Phoenix. Monte was then adopted by one of the film’s animal trainers called Mark Forbes.
While Tramp will be portrayed by the rescue dog Monte, his onscreen partner Lady will be played by a talented Cocker Spaniel ca..
SadHistoryX/YouTube/Sadorra/Facebook She’s ranked 119th on Pornhub, and has 45,000 subscribers – but former adult film star Jenni Lee has been found homeless and living underground in Las Vegas.
Lee, real name Stephanie Saddora, was considered one of the biggest names in the industry just a few years ago.
A Dutch documentary stumbled upon her while filming in Las Vegas’ network of tunnels, meeting the people who call it home.
Have a look at the clip below:
Lee is barely recognisable from her heyday, though she told the crew that she may have been ‘a little too successful’.
In the documentary aired on RTL 5, Lee said:
[I was] a little too successful maybe. I actually got very famous.
I should still be top 100 on some list. I used to be so hot.
It hasn’t been confirmed how Lee – originally from Clarksville, Tennessee, became homeless but in the brief interview, she appears to be content with her home.
RTL 5 Lee added: ‘I’m happy, I have everything I need here.’ She explained t..
Ella Martine/Instagram/Twitter It’s fair to say no one is as good at finding things as your mum.
Whether it’s a lost sock or something a tad less innocent, if someone’s going to spot it, it’s going to be your mum.
So, when uni student Ella Martine sent her mum a snap of her new bedroom, expecting to receive some compliments on the décor, her mum managed to spot the one thing she’d forgotten to hide: her hand cuffs.
moms been asking for pics of my new room… finally sent one… i’m so stupid pic.twitter.com/4tE2gDxNZG
— ella martine (@ella_vdm) August 17, 2019
On sending the picture of her beautifully accessorised university bedroom, Ella’s mum replied with a complimentary ‘nice,’ accompanied with a thumbs up for good measure.
But it was quickly followed up with ‘except for the handcuffs???’ and another, ‘what’s up with that?’
Fortunately, Ella was quick to share the embarrassing exchange on Twitter so we could all have a good old belly laugh at her innocent mistake, because..
Pexels I’m going to throw it out there and say that if you’re over the age of consent, the chances are you’ll have sent, or received, a dick pic.
As social media has evolved, the phenomenon of sharing our privates has skyrocketed because modern technology and picture sharing apps make it easy.
There has been mass debate over whether sending unsolicited dick pics should be a crime because, y’know, you can’t just flash someone in the middle of the street – so why do men feel the online sphere is any different?
Unsplash Well, according to psychologists at Pennsylvania State University, men could be showing off far more than just their wienerwurst with their dick pic sending habits.
A new paper published in the Journal of Sex Research has revealed the characteristics most commonly associated with men who send unprompted willy snaps, and I won’t lie, they’re not good.
Exhibitionism (obvs), narcissism, openness to sexuality and just downright sexism were the top traits to come up among ..
Instagram In an unnerving video, a group of boys at a California high school appear to give the Hitler salute while singing a Nazi song.
Filmed at Pacific High School in Garden Grove, the clip shows around 10 teens at an awards ceremony throwing up the hateful gesture and singing a Nazi marching song played for German troops during the Second World War – allegedly a song written by German composer and member of the Nazi party Herms Niel.
According to The Daily Beast, one of the athletes uploaded it to Instagram last year and also posted lyrics to the song in his social media bio – though it was later deleted. The students in the video have not been identified.
Have a look at the clip below:
Garden Grove Unified School district, where Pacifica High School resides, say administrators were made aware of the video in March, although could not confirm if any students were disciplined.
A spokesperson for Garden Grove Unified School said:
While the district cannot comment on student d..
PUBGCorp PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) is finally getting crossplay support between PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in early October, it’s been confirmed. Microsoft made the announcement during the Inside Xbox Gamescom stream yesterday, bringing us one step closer to a truly unified future. Bless.
The cross-platform shenanigans have, for now, been limited to PS4 and Xbox One, meaning Xbox and PlayStation players won’t be matching against PC users anytime soon. It’s unclear if/when we’ll be seeing PC join the fray, but it’s probably wise to see how PS4/Xbox crossplay goes first.
PUBGCorp PUBG Community Manager Cecilia Lee wrote:
Our first goal with cross platform play was for 100 players from both console communities to be able to play in the same match. Our second goal was to improve our matchmaking times, which we expect to be shorter for due to the wider matchmaking pool. Shorter wait times and more enemies on the battlegrounds = more opportunities to earn those chicken dinners..
Activision PlayStation 4 owners will be able to get their hands on the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare reboot much sooner than anticipated. Infinity Ward and Activision have announced that the 2V2 Gunfight mode will be getting a PS4-exclusive open alpha test, and it’s coming this weekend.
The open alpha runs between August 23 – 25, and you won’t need a PS Plus subscription to play. The perfect start to the bank holiday for Call of Duty fans everywhere, I’d say. I just hope none of you made actual plans, because you’ll want to make the most of your time with Gunfight.
Activision If you’re not entirely familiar with Gunfight, that’s probably because it’s an entirely new mode being introduced in Modern Warfare. We’ve managed to get some hands-on time with it ourselves, and were mightily impressed with what we played.
Gunfight is quite unlike any Call of Duty mode you’ve played before, in that it really puts the focus on incredibly small maps and fast placed gameplay. It’s easy e..
